December 1, 2009 - Began excavation on our 500th basement in Oklahoma.
May 1, 2009 - Basement Contractors recently received an honorable mention from a submittal for the Concrete Foundations Association Project of the Year. The Concrete Foundations Association (CFA) represents concrete foundation contractors and suppliers dedicated to the advancement of their industry. Each year the CFA looks for the best of the best from thousands of project constructed by their members. Basement Contractors’ project, along with sixteen other candidates, was chosen to compete for the coveted Project of the Year. The voting took place at the World of Concrete, an annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries, held in Las Vegas, Nevada in February.
The project submitted by Basement Contractors was a 4,612 square foot basement in Norman, Oklahoma. What made this project unusual was the 1,577 square foot indoor basketball court in the basement under the floor of a 4 car garage. The basketball court was enclosed by 24 foot tall walls of concrete 14 inches thick and a concrete lid serving as the garage floor.

December 31, 2008 - Basement Contractors finishes the year constructing the 487th basement. During 2009, the company will complete the 500th basement project in Oklahoma.
November 28, 2008 - Basement Contractors submits basement for consideration of the Concrete Foundation Association 2009 Project of the Year.
November 1, 2008 - Basement Contractors moves a few buildings north to the new location at 6300 Industrial Blvd, near I-35 and Waterloo in Edmond, OK.
